Judge Nixes 'Aged' Beef Class Action Against Kroger

Law360, New York (October 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has chucked a proposed consumer protection class action that sought to represent a class of Ohio residents, who accused national grocer Kroger Co. of misleading them by labeling certain beef as “aged,” because the grocer had not received prior notice that its alleged misconduct was deceptive.
