Intel Appeals EC Decisions In Antitrust Probe

Law360, New York (October 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Intel Corp. said Thursday that it has asked a European court to overturn certain European Commission procedural rulings that, it argues, block the company from properly defending itself against charges of anti-competitive behavior.

Intel's response to the EC's statement of objections was due by Friday, but the deadline has been suspended pending the company's appeal in the European Court of First Instance.
