DOE To Pay Dominion $155M In Nuclear Fuel Suit

Law360, New York (October 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has ordered the U.S. Department of Energy to pay Dominion Resources Inc. just under $155 million for violating a contract for spent nuclear fuel disposal.

Dominion had asked for nearly $175 million in damages, but Judge Eric Bruggink of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims disallowed two of the utility's claims and reduced two others on Wednesday.
