Govt. Help Needed For CO2 Storage, Report Says

Law360, New York (October 20, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Governments will have to take a more active role in developing rules for the capture and storage of carbon dioxide for the technology to become a viable part of the solution to climate change, a new report from the International Energy Agency released Monday said.

The report, called “Carbon Dioxide Capture and Storage: A Key Carbon Abatement Option,” said that governments would have to inject significant financial resources as well.
