Dewey Reveals Plans To Close Another US Office

Law360, New York (October 20, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Just months after announcing the closure of three other U.S. offices, Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP is planning to shut the doors of its Charlotte, N.C., office due to economic conditions in the market.

The Manhattan-based firm said in a statement Monday the move to close the office was part of its continuing review of global office locations. The decision comes after the firm revealed in April that it would shutter offices in Jacksonville, Fla.; Hartford, Conn.; and Austin, Texas, to expand its resources in major capital...
