Amcast Requests Documents From General Motors

Law360, New York (July 6, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Amcast Industrial Corp. has asked a bankruptcy judge to compel General Motors Corp. to produce documents related to its ongoing pricing disputes with the auto manufacturer.

Amcast wants access to a litany of documentation including world pricing market studies prepared by GM from January 2004 to December 2005; contracts between the businesses; and GM’s external communications with anyone regarding its wheel needs for the Corvette between January 2004 and December 2005.
