Chinese Scientists See Doubling Of CO2 Emissions

Law360 (October 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A recent energy report from China's Academy of Sciences may represent a step forward in the country of 1.3 billion's acknowledgment that it is quickly outstripping others in its emissions of carbon dioxide — a gas that many agree contributes to global warming.

In the “China Energy Report,” the Chinese academy said carbon emissions could double in the next 20 years.
