ConSemi Settles In Employee Patent Theft Suit

Law360, New York (October 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Almost two months after Control Systemation Inc. won summary judgment in a patent inventorship dispute, the former executive who brought the suit has agreed to stop selling the device he claimed CSI stole from him.

In documents filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Jon Heyl and his current company, Controlled Semiconductor Inc., agreed to stop selling their FATcat laser decapsulation device or any other product that would infringe CSI's patent for a similar invention.
