UN, Wal-Mart Seek Action Amid China Safety Concerns

Law360, New York (October 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In light of a series of safety scares over Chinese goods, the United Nations has urged the country to overhaul its food review system, and Wal-Mart Stores Inc., the world’s top retailer, has issued stricter product quality standards for suppliers.
