Aerocrine Sues Apieron Over Asthma Monitor

Law360, New York (October 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Swedish medical technology company Aerocrine AB and a stateside subsidiary on Tuesday hit Apieron Inc. with an infringement action, accusing it of violating a patent for a device that monitors lung inflammation.

The complaint, lodged in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, alleges Apieron’s desktop breath analyzer infringes Aerocrine’s proprietary technology related to asthma detection.
