Divestitures To Clear Path For Flight Co. Merger

Law360 (October 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice has asked a federal court to issue a final judgment, settling with divestitures its antitrust challenge to the $128.5 million merger between Signature Flight Corp. and Hawker Beechcraft Services Inc.

The federal antitrust regulator told the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on Tuesday that the flight-support providers had consented to entry of a judgment that would force the divestiture of certain of one or the other company's assets at Indianapolis International Airport.
