FTC Probing Instrument, Audio Cos.: Report

Law360 (October 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Federal Trade Commission is reportedly investigating whether makers of musical instruments and audio equipment have illegally prevented retailers from offering discounts.

The investigation has been underway since last year and a number of companies have been subpoenaed, the Wall Street Journal has reported, citing anonymous sources.
