Ex-Partners Say Floundering Novak Druce Owes Them Money

By Jake Simpson (December 18, 2015, 4:43 PM EST) -- Intellectual property boutique Novak Druce Connolly Bove & Quigg LLP owes considerable sums of money to several of the partners who have recently fled the firm as part of a wave of attorney departures, Law360 has learned.

Both equity and nonequity partners have not been fully compensated for their work at the firm and are owed hundreds of thousands of dollars total, according to multiple sources. In August, two former nonequity partners took the unusual step of suing Novak Druce in California state court, claiming the firm intentionally withheld earned compensation and performance bonuses.
