Law360, Philadelphia (December 22, 2015, 7:08 PM EST) -- Judge Arlin M. Adams, a retired Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP partner who had served on the Third Circuit for nearly two decades and was considered for appointments to the U.S. Supreme Court, passed away Tuesday at age 94.

Considered a giant in the Pennsylvania legal community, Judge Adams served as a U.S. circuit judge from 1969 to 1987 and had been considered to fill high court vacancies by former Presidents Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford and Ronald Reagan.
