Rival Hits J2 Global With New Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (July 10, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Online fax and messenger service provider Venali Inc. has launched a counterattack against J2 Global Communications Inc., accusing its nemesis of violating federal antitrust, trademark competitiveness and patent laws related to the Internet fax market.

The Florida messaging company has filed suit in the Southern District Court of Florida, alleging that J2 and Catch Curve Inc. have engaged in illegal anti-competitive activity.
