Washington Carbon Tax Initiative Moves To Legislature

Law360, New York (January 4, 2016, 2:01 PM EST) -- Supporters of an initiative that would introduce a revenue-neutral $25-per-ton carbon tax in Washington state said Thursday they had gathered enough signatures to submit the measure to the state Legislature and, if not enacted into law, it will appear on the ballot in November.
