Automakers Fear Cash Drought Sooner Than Later

Law360 (October 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Despite the government's promised $25 billion infusion of cash to the auto industry, experts are predicting that two out of the Big Three U.S. automakers could run out of money in as little as a year.

General Motors Corp. and Chrysler Corp. might be in big trouble unless a merger takes place or the government offers yet another rescue package, the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday.
