UnitedHealth Suit Filed Over Computer Booting Time

Law360, New York (October 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- UnitedHealth Group Inc. has been hit with a proposed collective action that accuses it of failing to pay its employees who work from home for time spent booting up their computers, along with other wage and overtime violations.

The complaint, filed Sept. 12, seeks unpaid wages, liquidated damages, attorneys' fees and the costs of litigation under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
