US-Based Samsung Tossed From Patent Row Against Nvidia

Law360, New York (January 6, 2016, 8:33 PM EST) -- The U.S. subsidiary of Korea-based Samsung was dismissed Wednesday from a suit in Virginia federal court in which the electronics company alleges that graphics chipmaker Nvidia infringed four semiconductor and computer innovation patents, as it does not hold any rights or interest in any of the asserted intellectual property.
