APC Sues Rival For Nabbing Workers, Trade Secrets

Law360, New York (October 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- American Power Conversion Corp. has filed a lawsuit against rival power producer Powerware and three of its former employees, alleging that the employees violated their APC contracts by disclosing trade secrets after becoming employed by Powerware.

APC filed the lawsuit on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court of Rhode Island, allegedly after three of its former employees misappropriated trade secrets and broke their contracts with company by working for its competitor, Powerware.
