ARCO Owes For Rio Tinto Cleanup: Suit

Law360, New York (October 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- BP PLC subsidiary ARCO has been hit with a lawsuit claiming that since it acquired a copper company that once mined in Nevada's Rio Tinto, it has assumed liability for long-running environmental cleanup efforts at the site.
