Buffets Fee Letter To Remain Under Wraps — For Now

Law360, New York (October 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A branch of Credit Suisse Group AG has won a stay in the bankruptcy case of restaurant chain Buffets Inc., persuading the court to keep the administrative agent's fee letter under lock and key while it appeals an order demanding that the information be released.

On Wednesday, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Mary Walrath granted the Credit Suisse Cayman Island Branch's stay request, initiated in the wake of an Oct. 14 disclosure order that sought to make the fee letter public.
