ZAI Claimants Seek Class Status In WR Grace Case

Law360 (October 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A group of plaintiffs is seeking class certification in the W.R. Grace & Co. Chapter 11 case, arguing that it should be treated as a collective unit and allowed to go forward with its asbestos-related claims.

On Wednesday, the Zonolite Attic Insulation claimants filed their motion for class certification, arguing that the current proposed plan of reorganization does not adequately provide for the ZAI claimants.
