Biz Alliance Makes Case For US-Brazil Trade Deal

Law360, New York (January 28, 2016, 3:21 PM EST) -- The Brazil-U.S. Business Council on Thursday called upon the leaders of both nations to begin considering negotiations for a sweeping free trade agreement, insisting that such a pact would yield a windfall for two of the most prominent economies in the Americas.

A paper from the BUSBC, which is organized under the umbrella of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, claimed that a free trade agreement between the U.S. and Brazil could substantially bolster the U.S. economy, consumer spending, employment and wages.
