Antitrust Case Against Banco Popular Tossed

Law360, New York (November 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Three months before the case was scheduled for trial, a federal judge has dismissed a $45 million lawsuit filed against Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, Puerto Rico's largest banking institution, by a ticketing service company that alleged the bank violated federal banking and antitrust laws by trying to monopolize the entertainment ticket industry.
