Simpson Thacher Applies To Join Cast Of Lehman Pros

Law360 (November 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. has asked for court permission to tap yet another big-name law firm — one that charges up to $1,000 an hour — to help out with its Chapter 11 proceedings.

On Monday, the bankrupt investment bank filed a motion with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, seeking to employ Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP as special counsel to the debtors.
