CSX Workers Fight Medical Subpoenas In FMLA Suit

Law360, New York (November 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Workers at CSX Transportation Inc. who are suing the rail company for violations of the Family Medical Leave Act want a court to shield their medical records from scrutiny, saying the documents are irrelevant to the case.

The plaintiff in the putative class action asked the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida on Tuesday for a protective order to block access to the records by CSX.
