Saint-Gobain, NewAge Settle Patent Suit

Law360 (November 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Corp. has asked a court to approve its consent judgment with NewAge Industries Inc. after reaching a settlement with the last of six defendants in its infringement suit over two patents for tubing and connector technology.

The joint motion for stipulated judgment, filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, resolves both Saint-Gobain's original infringement claims against the Southampton, Penn.-based plastics manufacturer and NewAge's counterclaims for tortious interference and unfair competition.
