Hawaiian Airline Sues Mesa Over Predatory Pricing

Law360 (November 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Hawaiian air service Mokulele Airlines filed suit against Phoenix-based Mesa Airlines on Wednesday accusing the larger carrier of using anti-competitive tactics to put Mokulele and other Hawaiian airlines out of business.

In the complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii, Mokulele alleges that Mesa engaged in predatory pricing, misused confidential information and deliberately violated contracts for the express purpose of forcing Mokulele out of the market.
