Few Attys Take Advantage Of Firms' Flexible Hours: Survey

Law360, Los Angeles (February 9, 2016, 9:56 PM EST) -- Major U.S. law firms offer flexible work hour options such as telecommuting and shorter in-office days to employees, but few attorneys take them up on it, and most of those who do are women, according to a survey released Monday.

All but two of the 25 firms surveyed by the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance have formal written policies allowing attorneys some flexibility on when and where their work gets done, according to the report, but only a few lawyers take advantage of the programs.
