Impax Sued Again Over Ultram ANDA

Law360 (November 6, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- While Impax Laboratories Inc. continues to try to bring a generic version of the painkiller Ultram to market, the drug’s marketer, Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals Inc., has filed another infringement suit against the company.

The complaint, lodged Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, claims a second abbreviated new drug application filed by Impax infringes the patent for Ultram.
