AT&T Violated Title VII: Employees To High Court

Law360, New York (November 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A group of female AT&T Corp. employees who took maternity leave prior to the enactment of a 1978 federal law prohibiting discrimination against those who take such leave is urging the U.S. Supreme Court to rule that the company violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act by refusing to give them service credits.
