Hope At Last For Drug Manufacturers Sued In NJ?

Law360, New York (November 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- This past summer, drug manufacturers Wyeth Inc. (“Wyeth”) and Pfizer Inc. (“Pfizer”), breathed a sigh of relief - at least for now. On July 11, 2008, in Bailey v. Wyeth Inc., No. MID-L-0999-06 MT (N.J. Super. Ct. Law Div. July 11, 2008), New Jersey Mass Tort Judge Jamie D. Happas granted summary judgment in favor of Wyeth and Pfizer, finding the manufacturers’ drug warnings adequate as a matter of law.
