Nesquik Recalled Over Aluminum Shavings

Law360, New York (November 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Following a recall earlier this week of its Brazilian-made Farinha Lactea cereal, Nestle USA Inc. has issued a recall for Nesquik strawberry-flavored powdered breakfast drinks.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said that Nestle is pulling the powdered drink from the shelves because some packages may contain aluminum shavings.

The recall affects 21.8-ounce containers of Nesquik Strawberry Powder with the production code "82255880" or "82265880" and a best-by date of August 2010.

The company says the products were manufactured on August 12 and 13 for distribution...
