Coalition Pushes EU To Launch CCS Program

Law360, New York (November 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The European Union must launch at least 10 carbon capture and storage demonstration projects to make CCS a commercial reality by 2020, a coalition formed to eliminate emissions has said.

On Monday, the European Technology Platform for Zero Emission Fossil Fuel Power Plants, or ZEP, released a proposal for an EU-wide carbon capture and storage demonstration program.
