Honda Recalls Motorcycles Over Crash Risk

Law360 (November 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- American Honda Motor Co. has recalled 13,000 off-road motorcycles after discovering a defect that could cause riders to lose control and crash.

The recall, posted Thursday on the Web site of the Consumer Product Safety Commission, concerns the 2007 and 2008 model year Honda CRF150R/RB motocross competition motorcycles.

According to the CPSC, Honda has received two reports of the weld on the right side of the swing arm cracking, though no injuries have been reported.
