DOI Official Sentenced In Conflict Of Interest Case

Law360, New York (November 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The former special assistant to the associate director of minerals revenue management at the U.S. Department of the Interior has been handed two years of probation and a $2,500 fine for a felony violation of the criminal conflict of interest law.

The U.S. Department of Justice announced the sentence Friday against 65-year-old Jimmy W. Mayberry, who pled guilty to the charges in July.
