Eli Lilly Circles Wagons Around Cymbalta Patent

Law360 (November 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Eli Lilly and Co. has brought at least four lawsuits seeking to stop generic pharmaceutical companies from marketing copycat versions of the antidepressant Cymbalta.

The suits, all of which were filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, accused Sandoz Inc., Impax Laboratories Inc., Wockhardt, and Cobalt Laboratories Inc. of patent infringement.
