Victoria's Secret Sued Over Skin Irritation Again

Law360 (November 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Lingerie retailer Victoria's Secret Stores LLC has been slapped with another class action over intimate apparel that allegedly caused rashes and serious skin conditions for wearers.

Filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the lawsuit alleges that Victoria's Secret undergarments caused allergic reactions, included itching, blistering and rashes for lead plaintiff Jerilyn G. Amaya and others who purchased underwear from the retailer.

The proposed class action accuses Victoria's Secret and its parent company, Limited Brands Inc., of negligently manufacturing and selling intimate apparel that caused dermatological conditions such as rashes, hives, itching, dermatitis, and scarring....
