NM AG Challenges EPA On Power Plant Permit

Law360 (November 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Brandishing new proof of excessive ozone pollution, New Mexico’s attorney general is urging regulators to revoke a permit for a controversial coal-fired power plant planned for the northwestern part of the state.

New Mexico Attorney General Gary King filed a motion Monday with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's appeals board, insisting that the agency erred when granting a permit for the Desert Rock Energy Co. LLC power plant.
