Judge Tosses CVS Suit Over Change To Win Web Site

Law360 (November 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge in Virginia has dismissed a complaint in which CVS Pharmacy Inc. and three subsidiaries accused union coalition Change to Win of misappropriating trade secrets by posting contracts between the plaintiffs and government agencies on the Internet.

Judge James C. Cacheris of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia signed off on an order Monday dismissing the CVS complaint and motion for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction without prejudice, citing lack of personal jurisdiction over the defendant.
