LEED Issues New Green Building Guidelines

Law360, New York (November 20, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design green building certification program has updated its rating system for commercial buildings, boosting measures to improve energy efficiency and combat global climate change.

The 2009 LEED member ballot, which updates the program's policies and standards, was passed Friday after two periods of public comment that solicited more than 7,000 comments from members and stakeholders.
