Chemtron Tagged With $3M Suit For Toxic 'Plume'

Law360, New York (November 24, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- In a case of bad walls making bad neighbors, an auto parts supplier is suing Chemtron Corp. for more than $3 million, claiming Chemtron's waste disposal facility contaminated the adjacent property and still requires remediation.

The complaint, filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, alleges hazardous waste from Chemtron’s recycling plant seeped into property owned by Pat Young Service Co. Inc., making it unsafe for operation.
