Medtronic Loses Jury Trial Bid In Defibrillator Suit

Law360 (November 24, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has struck down a bid by Medtronic Inc. for a jury trial on its declaratory judgment claims in the latest chapter of a nearly two-decade-long litigation saga with Boston Scientific Corp. unit Guidant Corp. over two patents for implantable cardiac defibrillators.
