Dunmore Settles Oil Spill Suit For $290K

Law360, New York (November 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Dunmore Oil Co. Inc. has agreed to reimburse the U.S. government approximately $300,000, settling a suit over costs the government incurred responding to an oil spill at a service station in northeast Pennsylvania.

The agreement, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, comes after Dunmore carried out the full cleanup of the site, as ordered by regulators.
