DOJ Updates Antitrust Amnesty Guidelines

Law360, New York (November 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Justice has revised its guidelines for its antitrust amnesty program, including two model conditional leniency letters, in the wake of a federal appeals court ruling against the department in its case against shipping company Stolt-Nielsen Transportation Group Ltd.

The DOJ released both updated versions of the model letters and an extensive explanation of the leniency program on Nov. 19, both signed by the department's Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the Antitrust Division Scott Hammond.
