Court Approves Sea Containers Reorganization Plan

Law360, New York (November 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A judge has approved Sea Containers Ltd.'s latest plan of reorganization, which resolved earlier objections by the U.S. trustee overseeing the case, clearing the company to exit bankruptcy.

Judge Kevin J. Carey of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware ruled Monday that the company's fourth amended reorganization plan is in accordance with bankruptcy law, and gave Sea Containers the authority to put it in effect, following a confirmation hearing. He overruled all outstanding objections to the plan.
