Barr, Mylan Face Patent Suit Over Amrix ANDAs

Law360, New York (November 26, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Generic-drug makers Mylan Inc. and Barr Pharmaceuticals Inc. have been hit with a patent infringement suit over their respective efforts to make a generic version of the drug Amrix, a skeletal muscle relaxant produced by Cephalon Inc.

Pennsylvania-based Cephalon filed the suit Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware in response to abbreviated new drug applications Barr and Mylan submitted to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to make generic versions of the drug.
