FTC Opposes $1.4B Merger In Auto Repair Market

Law360, New York (November 26, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Federal Trade Commission is seeking to block the $1.4 billion merger of CCC Information Services Inc. and Mitchell International Inc., saying the deal would limit competition in the market for systems used to estimate the costs of junked vehicles and auto crash repairs.
