Dramatic Changes On The Way In Labor Law

Law360, New York (December 1, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- President-elect Barack Obama’s victory virtually guarantees that some form of the Employee Free Choice Act (“EFCA”) will become law in 2009.

The EFCA was passed by the House of Representatives in 2007 but failed to pass the Senate due to a filibuster. Obama has expressed public support for the EFCA and has promised organized labor that making EFCA become a reality is a priority for his administration.
